In spite of a bizarre year, Bridwell Pro Rodeos out of Red Bluff, California safely arrived with their world class animal athletes at yet another Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Even though the performances won’t be under the bright lights of Las Vegas this year, the Bridwell's are thankful to once again have their stock competing at their 14th consecutive Wrangler National Finals Rodeo; the 3rd as Bridwell Pro Rodeos which was formed in 2017.
“I have been in the rodeo business since 2005 when I purchased our bucking horse program," Tim Bridwell said. "Never in a million years would I have imagined something like this. It truly makes you appreciate our lifestyle and the opportunities we have had.”
With only two rodeos this year to showcase their incredible stock, Bridwell Pro Rodeos was fortunate to have 10 top quality Bridwell Buckers selected to compete at the NFR. Five bareback horses, two saddle bronc horses and three bulls.
“This year has been an emotional rollercoaster," Haley Bridwell said. "The uncertainty of rodeos being cancelled and postponed; the continuing feed bills and the strain of watching our animal athletes waste a year’s worth of their talents has been really defeating at times."
Bridwell Pro Rodeos is especially thankful this year to be competing this December.
"We are so grateful for the hard work that made the WNFR able to happen for so many. We are especially thankful for the contestants who have faith in our animals to do their job despite having so few opportunities this year. It is always special to showcase our animal athletes, but this year feels a little more special. ”
